Setting the classroom rules is needed. As a teacher, you need to prepare this before the first day of school begins. The application of classroom rules commonly consists of the things that students do and don’t in the classroom.
Instead of making the rules in such a boring form, you can go with the fun one that allows the students to participate in the making.
The thing you need to do first is lists the rules. Continue to find the blank template which presents the rules in pictures. Make sure you also add the phrase about the picture rules.
Make the cutouts to divide easily. After having the blank rules picture, you need to continue making the board. The rules will consist of what’s allowed and not allowed in the class. Therefore, you can divide the board into thumbs up and thumbs down.
Share the rules cutouts with the students and ask them to color them. After done with coloring, you can let them identify each rule that they get and read it aloud. Reviewing the rules to make the students more familiar with them.
If the students are already familiar with all the rules, let the students place the rules on the board. Make sure they place it in the right place whether it's allowed or not allowed to do.
This activity can boost their coloring skill while also making them able to identify the rules of the classroom they need to obey.
If your kids are in 1st grade, you still need to prepare the things they need to bring for the first day of school. Preparing your kids' supplies also support their learning activity. Having the complete equipment can boost their confidence too.

Pack the complete stationery and supplies in their backpack. As an activity starter, it might include writing and drawing activity. Therefore, you need to prepare it to make your kids able to follow these activities.

Make sure you pack it well to allow your kids to take the supplies easily. You can also label all your kids' supplies with their names to avoid swapping with their friends.

You can serve the classroom rules and then allow them to rewrite them with their version. Let them do the creation of making the embellishments. Drawing the group member along with the rules would be a great idea.
