What did the pilgrims have for thanksgiving dinner?

The pilgrims were the first settlers of Northern America. Pilgrims were the community who started the Thanksgiving traditions. They held a feast to celebrate their first harvest. They also invite the Indians from the Wampanoag tribe to eat dinner together. What were they eating is considered a popular Thanksgiving trivia. When we talk about Thanksgiving trivia, we always think about “What did the pilgrims have on their earliest Thanksgiving?”. People didn’t eat turkey at the earliest Thanksgiving. That’s considered a popular Thanksgiving trivia because people always think about turkey when they talk about Thanksgiving. Back in the day, pilgrims had ducks, wild deer, or any hunted animal’s meat, eels, clams, and lobster. On the vegetable and fruits side, they had berries, pumpkin, and squash. There were no cranberries jam and pumpkin pie back then, they had them as a whole fruit. That’s another interesting Thanksgiving trivia because people always think about those two.
