What's the difference between an imprint and a lithograph?

Lithography was primarily a graphic art form throughout the nineteenth century and, as such, still holds a high artistic reputation. Lithographs are artists' original artworks and are typically signed, while there is no signature for offset lithographic printing and reproductions.

Which inkjet or laser printer is better?

For printing photos and color documents, inkjet printers are better, and while there are color laser printers, they are more expensive. Laser printers don't use ink, unlike inkjet printers. The trade-off is that, in general, laser printers are more costly.

Do laser printers dry them out?

No, unlike the ink used on inkjet printers, toners from laser printers do not dry up even if you leave them for a long time. Instead of ink, laser printers require toner, a fine powder that forms the text and images that you print on the paper found in a toner cartridge.

Can I print without being connected to the Internet?

There is no need for online access to operate printers used to output documents from a computer. Provided that the document or file to be printed is stored on a local hard drive or on the local network, it can be printed without an Internet connection.

What resolution for the printer do I need?

Today, average inkjet printers generally have a 1200 x 1440 dpi resolution. If you're not going to print photos larger than 5 x 7 inches, this is a good enough resolution.

What does full color mean?

Full color is a term that implies that the combination of four primary colors (Cyan , Magenta , yellow and black) achieves inidivdual colors and is sometimes referred to as CMYK or full color process. Spot Colours-Inks to produce a specific colour (pantone) are mixed to a calibrated and standardised specification.

How do you know if printing is precious?

Search for an impression quality and good condition of the paper when identifying a valuable print. Look at the paper and see if a watermark or distinctive marking is present. The condition of the paper will also have an impact on value: tears, creases, stains.
