The earliest known form of printing applied to paper was woodblock printing, which appeared prior to 220 AD in China. Later developments in printing technology include the movable type invented by Bi Sheng around 1040 AD and the printing press invented by Johannes Gutenberg in the 15th century.

What does full color mean?

Full color is a term that implies that the combination of four primary colors (Cyan , Magenta , yellow and black) achieves inidivdual colors and is sometimes referred to as CMYK or full color process. FedEx-Kinkos is probably a pretty good bet if you don't have access to a local printer. Printing [black & white] on your own paper is also just about $0.10 per page! Some quantities of paper, including colored cardstock, are sold by most office supply stores (Office Depot, Staples).
